The second of 2 “Outlaws Under the Arch” events are complete! And they did not disappoint.
We started out the weekend strong with Low ET of the event as the first car down the track in Q1. Showing that we didn’t come to play games, we came to win, and that’s what we did!
Q2 also doubled as the final round for the first St Louis event (qualified #1), which had been postponed due to a monsoon that hit us shortly before the finals. We were able to run a 4.281 to beat the other cars 4.348 and claim the first win of the 2 special events!
On Saturday we were able to keep the momentum rolling making it all the way to final round where we won on a holeshot (.034/4.307 to beat a .071/4.303) to double up and sweep the 2 special events and make it 3 consecutive Outlaw 330’ wins!
This weekend also marked the debut of Klein Simpson as the newest Outlaw 330’ racer, driving the red and black ECP car! Although the car was unfortunately unable to start in rd 1 of eliminations, you can expect both cars to be running full force this weekend at Bunker Hill for the next event of the Midwest Junior Super Series.
